What is an Executive Coach?
An Executive Coach works with executives in high level management and leadership positions to help them optimize their performance and help achieve the work/life balance that works for them! It's all about the relationship! Corporations can invest in their executive team and help them succeed, which ultimately benefits the company.
What I do:
-
Help you reach your goals and meet your challenges with confidence.
-
Help you improve your communication so you can build a cohesive team and connect with them.
-
Help you find the balance you seek.
-
Meet with your existing support team to identify stuck points.
-
Provide you with my knowledge and expertise in relational dynamics, communication, and reading people to make you a more effective leader.
-
Guide and assist you with personal issues that get in the way by decreasing focus, efficacy, and motivation. Everyone faces issues at some point that can become a barrier to optimal performance.
What I do NOT do:
-
I do not tell you how to do your job ~ you already know how to do your job and you are already successful! However, there can be a steep learning curve to management and leadership. For example, being the most qualified/talented candidate for CEO doesn't always mean you are proficient in supervising and leading others.
-
I do not waste your time...or mine. Time is a valuable resource! Typically, Executive Coaching is a temporary arrangement meant to help you remove obstacles in your path forward and then exit stage left so you can do your thing!
-
I am not clinical, cold, or bossy. I am, however, direct, honest, and insightful...and funny. Humor makes everything easier!
The most successful and talented people have coaches, mentors, and teachers: musicians, athletes, actors, and scientists alike recognize that there is always room for growth.
Why Choose Me?
Coaching businesses have exploded in the past 15-20 years. Often, coaches have no specific training, expertise, or license. There is no one governing body for coaching certification. However, I attended an APA accredited doctoral program in Clinical Psychology. That means that I can offer my support and expertise of relational and group dynamics that I have learned from years of training and experience as a licensed Clinical Psychologist. I have worked in several settings, giving me a wealth of knowledge regarding how and why things become dysfunctional in the workplace. I can actually help you perform at your full capacity. That helps you, your colleagues, your clients, and your corporation! When we use our knowledge and talent to help others succeed, we all benefit.
